Series recommendation for fashion lovers

A few weeks ago, I opened my Disney+ app and an ad for the new Vogue series immediately caught my eye. As you've probably already noticed, I'm very interested in fashion, so I thought: why not? I mean, all the streaming providers are having problems with the supply of new seasons of my favorite series anyway. And I have to admit that it was really worth it.
Anyone who has spent any time with the fashion world and its personalities will be familiar with the face with short hair and sunglasses. We are talking about Anna Wintour. Not even two years after she got a job at US Vogue in 1986, she rose to become editor-in-chief of one of the most famous fashion magazines. She is now considered one of the most influential women in the fashion industry.
However, the series not only tells the story of Anna Wintour's own achievements, but also focuses on the turbulent 90s, which were characterized by a rapid turnaround. It is only then that you realize what effect an article in Vogue had on current trends. And also who should be at the forefront of the top designers.
Between iconic impressions from the time, well-known models such as Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell talk about their experiences from the 90s. Characterized by trends such as hip hop and grunge, this decade was a real grab bag and an incredibly important time to make a name for yourself, especially in the fashion world. A career could be secured with just one bold show that triggered a reaction from the public. This was also the case for Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein and Tom Ford, for example, whose fabulous rise to fame is explained in the series.
